Poetics of the object

Diaries of a no one In this body of work I investigate what are the best ways for a young, upcoming artist to introduce his/her work to collectors and galleries. Most galleries in kenya are commercial spaces, therefore working only with artists who have the spotlight on them. In the work process and research, I hope to find a solution. The artworks in the series are letters of application and introduction that I have written over time and sent via email. I am rewriting the letters i sent and the responses in hand writing, and aging them with shellac and baking them. The stamps are collectors stamps I have collected for a couple of years now. I am hoping to rewrite all the applications, introductory letters and responses.
