Divided to be Linked n°3: FROZEN OSCILLATION BETWEEN THE DEEP AND THE SURFACE & LINKED INTERACTION BETWEEN THE ELEMENTS ■ this singular combination of high perfomance foam, printed linen and translucent synthetic wax is based on my experience as a fresco painter ■ when you touch the surface of the work, it feels like wax but the material used is very insensitive and is not affected by low or high temperatures ■ 6 elements (4.2 x 4.2 x 1.3 inch) assembled to one field (8.5 x 12.8 x 1.8 inch). the different consolidation and thickness of the coating as well as the color make each element unique. the erratic surfaces, ridges, craters and cracks and colors of each element look different depending on the light and the angle of view ■ title, signature and date on the back ■ easy to hang, no framing required ■ will be shipped in a protective wooden crate ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ● all used materials are free of harmful substances ● the used high perfomance foam is unaffected by UV-light. it is used for aviation and areospace ● the used synthetic wax is especially recommended for offset printing inks and has a very high melting point (about 120°C). it has wax-like characteristics but excellent rub and scratch resistance ● all 6 elements are coated with wax on five sides and mounted on a 0.4 inch foam board with integrated hanging system. this elastic back board is reinforced with carbon tubes and is indented. so the wall sculpture has a shadow gap and the edges of the units seem to be floating
