This is a one of a kind linocut print on acid free base sheet of white. The image size is 24x24. The paper size is 26x26. The signature and title is on the bottom of the image. It represents the moon goddess, Selene, and is inspired by both Manet and Matisse, both of whom are seen as echoes within the image. The spheres are as if planets or moons and are hand printed and then collaged to the art work. The blue night sky is a monoprint on Japanese paper, the foliage is a woodcut on Japanese paper and the base of green floral patterns is also a woodcut print on Japanese paper. All of these details are adhered to the artwork using archival and acid free adhesive. I hope she engages your imagination and mystifies your sense of wonder about goddesses and beautiful women. Artwork is packed carefully and shipped in a flat box via Fed Ex.
