About The Artwork
Royal Gold is a collage of an Akhal-Teke horse wearing a simple royal blue and gold highlighted costume. The horse is drawn with charcoal and combined with various materials, such as Japanese paper, black tea, brass golden leaves and one-coloured paper. One of the first pieces in a series of equine costume designs. The title combines two colours, royal blue and gold. Akhal-Teke horses are well known for their metallic coats that shine in the sun intensively and are also called the golden horses of the Middle East. So the title Royal Gold is rather appropriate to name the breed, at least the golden buckskin colour variation. Framed. The original image is 40x29 cm with a warm white passe-partout and a 55x43 cm rectangular wooden frame in a warm metallic colour. Included in the price and ready to hang.

Slovenia
Lara Ješe is a visual artist living and working in Kranj, Slovenia. She doesn’t stick to a particular style or a medium, but most of her production resides in figurative painting. Colder and darker tones from her earlier work with animal motifs have made way for increasingly saturated colours and strong, bold shapes. In 2016 she acquired her MFA at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and also studied at the HGB Leipzig in Germany. She has exhibited in solo and group shows internationally, most notably in Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany, and the USA.
