About The Artwork

The Kiss is an abstract artwork made on an old aged piece of plywood the image is created with the rusty water produced from the oxidisation of perforated steel. The created abstracted image looks like two figures kissing, the ochre colour of the oxide is a great contrast with the aged plywood with its open and cracking grain. It is mounted in a bespoke naturally blackened Oak frame.

I am a sculptor, master craftsman, engineer, furniture maker, working mainly in wood but also use metals, plastics and giving new life to previously used objects. I have my own business designing and making bespoke handcrafted furniture, I also build props for major motion pictures. I want to bridge the gap between art and furniture by creating beautiful sculptural furniture that is not only can be practical but is seen valued as a great work of art. "A master craftsman creating genuine works of art"
