During the annual Indra Jatra festival, the biggest cultural procession of Kathmandu is demonstrated publicly. A huge number of deities come out with their masked dances from various parts of the Valley but the King of all Hindu Gods is tied up at one corner of the royal courtyard. The Kathmanduites take pride in caging him since he was caught stealing flowers for his mother from a garden in the Valley, as the folklore goes. In this digital work, we see him being tied up with both hands raised.
