When Does A War End is a short series of works, inspired by the artist’s time in Palm Springs. The series was a more maximalist approach to color for Embtto, and gave them opportunity to try new digital tools, and approaches to scale and depth. This work comes as a ready-to-hang print on high quality paper, behind glass. Medium sized limited run of 9, personally signed.

{Thank you for your patience - this past year has brought some unwelcome attention. But also thank you to everyone who has reached out in support. New works are now back in progress. Email me if you want, embttolowmani@gmail.com} EMBTTO is a visual artist who works out of many different countries. Works are currently only available on SaatchiArt and OpenSea. Their original pieces and limited series’ use digital tools and a mixed media ethos, to create an often-classical response to differing urban environments. Leaning on rich colors and a maximal preference, EMBTTO is accomplished in manipulating the canvas in a way that rewards a second look. Passing city stories are amplified into comedic proportions, and the overlooked become a lens through which to view how little history and place really change. EMBTTO creates an overstyled narrative that, though familiar, characterizes a new representation of modern society. EMBTTO is not on any social media.
