About The Artwork
Peach blossom is a flower of spring. It brings a sense prosperity and good things in the future. In the North of Vietnam, people decorate their houses with blossom trees in New Year to wish a happy new year. The drawing was made on a very thin kind of paper. After drawing on the paper, a paper maker will strengthen the drawing by gluing more paper to the drawing. The reason why we dont make the paper harder before drawing is because that drawing on a thin paper will make colour spreading more effectively.
