With her uncanny ability to blend in, she's on everybody's side. When she was accused of being fickle, or wanting to stand out, or too upright in her views, she decided that the best form of action was to agree. Whenever the situation arose for her to voice her opinion, knowing it would make no difference anyway, she would nonchalantly twist about and literally absorb all that was offered and virtually disappear into the maelstrom of the argument. She saw this as no different to the lack of respect shown for her resilience in the face of adversity. She also noticed that no one cared that she wouldn't look them in the eye.
