About The Artwork

"Diluted Moments of Quarantine" encapsulates the human experience during times of isolation and reflection. In this pencil and watercolor drawing, an enigmatic portrait of a woman whose duplicated eyes reflect the complexity of time and reality in a quarantine context is revealed. The woman's gaze, directed to one side, suggests deep introspection as she contemplates the flow of time and the transformation of reality during a period of isolation. The background, composed of splashes and lines of colors, evokes a psychedelic ambiance symbolizing the confusion and uncertainty that characterize this historical moment. Amidst the turbulence of the current situation, the artwork offers a poetic vision of how moments dilute and intertwine, challenging our perception of time and reality. Each stroke and color shape an inner universe where introspection and adaptation intertwine in a subtle dance. "Diluted Moments of Quarantine" invites the viewer to reflect on the ephemeral nature of existence and the human capacity to find meaning and beauty even in the most challenging moments. It is a reminder that, even in darkness, creativity and introspection can illuminate the path to understanding and hope.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
