Flirt Drawing

"Flirt" is a contemporary, nature inspired mixed media piece I have classified as a drawing but has quite a few painterly qualities in terms of texture, heavy application of color and acrylic under painting. I'm just going to be candid, "Flirt" surprised me in the studio as it evolved...I actually did not mean for the work to turn out so rococo adorable and charming. I was working on a bold black and white Melodic Minor piece at the same time and you would think the feeling in the black and white work would carry over. Instead, the romantic suggestions in "Flirt" became undeniable.
