Llevo mas de un año y medio resolviendo esta obra y hoy 1 de mayo de 2021 por fin la termino, no fue planeado que estuviera lista este día. En esta quería retratar un poco todos esos sucesos escabrosos que nosotros los de ciudad desconocemos en nuestra gran mayoría, el horror del conflicto armado, en crudas palabras la guerra. Desde mi perspectiva los conflictos inician cuando una de dos partes antepone su posición de manera egoísta e individualista, anulando la del otro, dejando de lado su bienestar, somos seres individuales, si, pero todos estamos conectados... Los conflictos llevan a tomar decisiones radicales y nos empujan a hacer cosas irrazonables para defender nuestro punto de vista; la injusticia permanente es algo que debería conmovernos a todos, es un poco como veo la realidad de nuestro país. Solo busco cuestionarme y ser empático con lo que pasa en Colombia, en la calle, en las casas, en la forma en cómo te estás relacionando con los tuyos y con otros, lo único radical de trasfondo es que creo firmemente en que la forma de cambiar al mundo empieza por ti mismo, por alimentar la consciencia individual para sumar a la colectiva, ser un poquito mejor cada día. Este es un homenaje a los campesinos que más han tenido que vivir el horror del egoísmo y el pensamiento individualista. Fragmentos del tiempo. Carboncillo sobre papel 100x70 cm
