About The Artwork

The concept for this artwork is the human tendency, quest and need to acquire money. The path to achieve this essential goal is rooted in the manner of how, when, how much, and how far will each of us go to achieve this end. Each of us can follow a recognizable path, where we use our inherent skills, education, on the job training and experience to promote our specialization of knowledge as well as relevant, in demand techniques we each acquired through work experience. For example, each of us can choose to pursue a work ethic that involves being honest, hard working, responsible, respectful to others, collegial, taking pride in delivering a well-prepared and earned days work to function and deliver a high quality work product. Or we can individually decide to earn lot's and lot's of money with the least amount of work ethic employed as described above, and for the sake of acquiring money as the only focused goal. Focused to achieve this at the hurtful expense of others, being out just for your self and accumulating more $ than you 'can chew' or need in a lifetime. This last description, I refer to as 'Greed' grasping for or lurching for the dollars as fast as one can to fill their personal coffers.
