His Little Pony Drawing

I had been residing for an extended time in Saitama, Japan. My time in Japan is always calm and reflective. I also have more free time to let my imagination drift. At this time there was a boom in tourism. Nearby Tokyo was packed with excited westerners. I noticed that the hunger for all things Hello and Kitty was immense. I also noticed that these objects were endlessly attractive to all ages of female. Since I've always been interested in the emotion of desire and more specifically the boundaries of desire the thoughts of desire for objects began to ferment in my unconcious. My thought processes are not protracted or selective. An image appears in front of a flash bulb in the darkness. Then I put this image to paper and all is revealed. As my hand has ceased to be mine, it has an agenda of it's own. A young girl is presented as a toy pony. You can see the same nymph images in Disney's back catalog. I have my own personal attraction to the image of a half beast that I am not willing to explain. My friend Agnes Giard could probably enlighten me. Drawn, as usual in sumi-e ink on smooth thick washi style paper.
