About The Artwork
Otto Dix is one my favourite artist. I saw his Gospel of St Matthew recently and it touched me beyond all I expected. My drawing has probably nothing to do with the work of the painter but I wonder if it's so important. I did my drawing, thinking to this model which is, I repeat, for me, one of the greatest artist in my heart.

I am 65 years old. I paint for 38 years. My professor was Miss Mathieu, a pupil of Roger Bissières, Albert Marquet. The painting above my works is a canvas from Colette Beleys ( 1911-1988 ) seen in the Museum of Laval, France. "the bridge on the Seine"
