About The Artwork

My own view on the ruins of a coal mine in Belgium “le Grand Hornu” near Mons (Bergen). I visited the place in the ‘80/‘90 s. The ruins are often a theme in my architectural works. In this case I made a large drawing on paper, folded it and glued it on a foam board. The is only a wooden frame, washed white, but no glass before it. My purpose is to show the building from different sides of view and to create depth and a movement. (Btw the ruins are restored and are now a museum).

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

After jobs in fashion and costume desigh for theater I decided to concentrate on free art. My basic is drawing, using ink, often combined with acryl paint. Subjects are: architecture from large buildings like cathedrals to small houses, landscapes as a building, theatre, mythologie, the people and the things going on on the streets nearby. As fascinated by lines and points also making geometric works. Sometimes trying to create depth and speed on a flat surface, by placing drawings on a frame.
