I think human skulls are beautiful. A powerful confrontation with the reality that we are more than our physical bodies, as they cannot survive without our presence. Memento Mori means "remember death" in latin. Images of skulls and flowers and candle flames have a tradition in classical art as symbols for our growing awareness of our selves, our inescapable death, and our uncertainty of what follows. I think to contemplate the nature of one's existence a deepening and fruitful endeavor.

b 1977 I am deeply interested in human nature and understanding the principles that move our behaviors, desires, intentions and awareness. I love real beauty and genuine kindness, which I believe to be correlated and difficult to see clearly. It takes real depth. I live in Venice Beach, California near the ocean.
