About The Artwork

We live in a period of significant psycho-social, political, economical and spiritual problems. The winning back of an equilibrium entails solving the problem of pollution, fighting for peace on Earth and for equal distribution of resources, returning to nature, re-evaluating common social, ethical and cultural values. My work mirrors a passage which corresponds to a movement across space-time. Starting with the figurative, I created two dimensional works where the subject was the human body and animals; studied from the outside as well as from the inside, built, dissected, destroyed and rebuilt in a different illusive and informal form. Following the path of my metamorphosis, some details of the "Anatomic Tables, as he named the art critic and historian of modern and contemporary art Giorgio Di Genova. It 'was very important to find in the open field of composition, such as a great detail, a refined balance between the quality and quantity of colors. Moving away from figurative, this ambivalence wich opens the road to experimenting, has always helped me to choose the rigorous form and to express my message.
