This graphite drawing on A3 Bristol Board shows a distorted image of the artist, his muse, and his studio including the various samples/finished drawings/furniture on the studio walls. The artwork was inspired by an M.C.Escher drawing and uses the artists' own chrome lamp in his studio and the reflection that has been a permanent (if somewhat unseen) feature of his work over the last few years. By using techniques developed over 30+ plus this work shows a dynamism that borders on a hyper-realistic style that encompasses a humorous and intriguing artwork that delivers on many levels.
