Aphrodite of Mios is a well-known marble statue of the late Hellenistic-early Roman era(around 150-50BC)witch was found in the spring of 1820,in a rural area of the island of Milos(Greece). The statue was found in over 6 separate pieces and ended up a year later in the museum of the Louvre, where it is exhibited until today. In yhe museum of Milos, there is an exact copy of it,which was later sent as a donation to the Louvre.Aphrodite of Milos is considered an amazing work of Hellenistic art, which harmoniously combines female beauty and feminity. It used to be considered the work of Praxitelis, but today is clear that its creator is dfferent. Is a trademark of Milos and definitely one of the most important acquisitions of the Louvre. Is my study with charcoal in good paper matt 160gr.It is framed with black wooden frame ,white paper and glass.
