About The Artwork
With so many people visiting the seaside, she's never-endingly re-created, much to her delight. With many shells and pumice and pebbles of various sizes, the sculptures appear daily. Some remain pristine for many years but some are semi dismantled with powerful high tides. When this happens, she tries hard to repair herself by pretending to rest on one knee and forcing armatures throughout to support and correct any imbalances. This often means a collaboration of many different mediums and structural improprieties , but resulting in crazy and sometimes, powerful renditions.
