About The Artwork
In my family history both of my grandparents were gardeners and/or sharecroppers. They've spent alot of time outdoors prepping and preparing the land for their harvest to come in. In my childhood I 've experienced with them what it means to sow to see the fruits of your labor whether physically and spiritually. This woman with a straw hat and her sack is a representation of it.
