About The Artwork

Uva n.2 (Grapes n.2) graphite pencil drawing on Schoeller cardboard. tryptych 73 cm x 35 cm (29,5 x 13,7 inches). The frame (grey colour) is included and the total dimensions are 106,5 cm x 65 cm (41,9 x 25,5 x 0,7 inches). This artwork received the second prize at MAG art prize in 2012. The main theme of my artistical research is the caducity of human life. The Vanitas theme is a very ancient topic in history of art and philosophy. The study of the objects and of the nature, with esasperated small, enlarged and faded stille lifes, explores the beauty of nature and and drama of this theme.
