About The Artwork
This piece is a dreamlike representation of the ocean, containing a shore break, and an ancient Polynesian petroglyph of a surfer. There are images of Polynesian petroglyphs in much of my work, such as the surfer and Hawaiian sea turtle you see here. I used to live in Hawaii, and surfing and Polynesian art and culture are very much in my blood.
