Julie Artwork

A artwork that is laser cut on my studio, by myself. It is two pieces combined by glue and then the one figure is added matte rubber and the other is added shiny resin. I always thing matte and glossy together, trying to embrace them both in a artwork. It is abstract, with all the things one might see in it. I admit two snakes might have crossed my mind. The dancing in and between each other they preform, comes from me thinking of two people trying to be together and giving a bit of oneself to make it work. I don't believe there is a perfect combination of two people put there. It takes a lot of effort to be and choose each other. Sometimes you are far from the other person in thinking and other times your path crosses better. A will to make it work is handy and crucial. The artwork is without attachment, since it is a piece meant to be turned around, if one would like it. So you can basically just put one of the holes on a screw, as showed in the pictures. I can attach something to hang it by, if preferred. Note that it is very hard to measure a piece that is not a square, but it is measured at the longest places. Signed on the back.
