About The Artwork

I’ve started Russian Women Series it in December 2021 with a portrait of Jenya. I had been thinking to paint her for a couple of months already. I don’t know whether her open back attracted me or something else. I’ve spent 10 years in special treatment of my vertebrae, that is why back is symbolic. All the collection have had a huge impact on me and helped to self grow in many questions as a person / woman and to become more brave in portraiture as an artist. No 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 were immediately sold. Four are available. #10 is taking part in national competition from Russian State Art Union. #8. Masha. Homo Deus. Finished in March. After the military conflict in Ukraine has been started. Woman gives birth. No matter where and what nationality. It’s hard for women to loose their children… people have became gods in a classic psychological idea like Antonio Menegetti described. People also created a lot, like Harary describes in Homo Deus. But humanity has forgotten about their origins… No one can command a life of another human… So, are we Homo Deus in the eyes of mothers?!… Masha is living in St.Petersburg. Commercial specialist.

Thank you for interest in my art) I was born and grown up in St.Petersburg. Contemporary self taught artist. The history of my art route is long, but not pleasant all the way. Art kept me alive during very difficult times, helped to follow my path, to make choices, to meet wonderful people, my people, and helped to survive problems with health. I do really love what I do. Not always satisfied indeed)
