About The Artwork
The painting was created in the spring of 2022, after a walk in the garden. I picked lilacs and painted this painting under the influence of the wonderful smell and spring fragrance. The painting is painted on linen canvas which is mounted on a pine frame. It is primed with gelatin and acrylic primer like the old masters. This is the only painting. The apples in the painting imply the temptation of a man in a beautiful marvelous orchard. David is a man undergoing temptation. David was painted sketchily and I intentionally put oil strokes like the wind to show how everything in life is fleeting. Thank you for your attention.
