VIEW IN MY ROOM
"A Hermit's Passage" is a watercolor artwork that offers an intriguing reflection on time and its influence on the perception of reality, through a visual reference to a metro station in Mexico City. At the heart of the composition, a signpost becomes a focal point, but its appearance is ephemeral and fleeting. The lines and shapes of the sign gradually disintegrate into a visual dance that duplicates itself in shades of orange, suggesting the duality and the constant transformation of the reality we experience in our society. The contrast between the vibrant orange and the surrounding blue tones evokes a sense of transition and change, reminding us that time is an omnipresent force that shapes our perception of the environment and the society we inhabit. The artwork challenges us to consider how realities can be fleeting and ever-changing, like metro stations that come and go in a constant flow. "A Hermit's Passage" invites us to contemplate the transient nature of time and its influence on our perception of collective reality. Each fading line and shape reminds us that, as we move through time, our perceptions and understandings of the world around us also transform. This artwork, in its visual evolution, urges us to explore how time and constant adaptation influence our understanding of the ever-changing society and environment in which we live.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
