After mid day Painting

As a 24-year-old artist emerging from the serene landscapes of Norway, my journey into the realm of painting began in 2020. Two years ago, I took the step to start selling my art, a venture that has been met with both the trials and triumphs. My early works were deeply rooted in Expressionism and Impressionism, capturing my fascination with the transformative nature of art; how a painting can shift in perception from a distance to up close, from a defined image to a symphony of individual strokes. Recently, my artistic explorations have carried me into the dynamic sphere of abstract expressionism. Here, I find a harmonious balance that interweaves the unrestrained freedom of abstract art with the emotional depth of Expressionism, and at times, the delicate dance of Impressionism. My creative process is fluid, guided by the flow of my emotions, allowing me to either merge these styles into a cohesive expression or to delve deeply into the pure essence of just one. My work is an ode to the intuitive process of creation, a celebration of the unknown outcome that unfolds with each layer of paint. Nature's unpredictability and beauty are a constant source of inspiration, and I strive to mirror its organic unpredictability in my art. With every canvas, I invite the viewer to a personal journey, one that offers a glimpse into the myriad of emotions that drive the human spirit, just as the diverse Norwegian landscapes that surround me reflect the vast array of textures and colors that life presents.
