Born in Milan in 1961, Alfredo Rapetti Mogol is influenced by the family atmosphere, where music, literature and poetry have always been breathed. At a very young age he was introduced by his maternal grandfather, Alfredo de Pedrini, President of the Graphic Arts Association, into the Milanese artistic environment, maturing his passion for painting, combining his training at the School of Comics in Milan. The pictorial exercise is experimented with different directions, destined to converge in 1996, in the studio of artists such as Alessandro Algardi and Mario Arlati. In his artistic career Rapetti begins to combine his two greatest passions: writing and painting. Thanks to a particular technique, called stitching, the action of painting merges with the act of writing, so the words begin to appear not only on the sheets but also on the canvases. The exhibition activity between the end of the 1990s and today is remarkable between Italy and the world. From 2004 he joined the international group "Signes et Traces" founded by Riccardo Licata.. in 2007 he was invited to exhibit at the 52nd Venice Biennale, in the Syrian Arab Republic Pavilion on the occasion of the exhibition "On the roads of Damascus" curated by Duccio Trombadori, and in 2011 at the 54th Venice Biennale, Italian Pavilion, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi. In 2011 he was invited to exhibit at the 1st edition of the Brescia Biennale.
