About The Artwork
This painting hovers between fantasy and realistic. I am facinated by "lost cities", "forbidden cities" and this gave me that feeling of something reminding one of a city in the distance, but not clearly. The light flash on the right also helps to emphasize the unrealistic. I used rather thick acrylic paint in bolt brush strokes to make it abstract.

However, I've been drawing and painting since childwood and do it as a hobby today. Inspiration is mainly derived from the natural landscape as well as character studies. Similar to architectural investigations, I like exploring abstract forms and experiments.
