About The Artwork
I have met every subject I have painted, I visited the sanctuary of Donna Nook and was enchanted by the visions of the babies I saw, this is one of a series of portraits of the seal babies.Seal no 2 had really sad eyes and was a little older than seal no 1 and looked at me and I melted , she was so cute. The noises they made were like nothing I have ever heard and the air was full of the little newborn voices, and the mothers calling.This was part of a recent exhibition and as shown with the others was a real talking point. I do hope you like them.

I was born on an RAF base in Cyprus. I spent my formative years in Singapore before settling in Nottinghamshire UK. I work in many mediums, that suit the particular painting I am working on.I try to capture the essence of my subject by meeting and observing them from life.
