Battle of Spielberg I Painting

Work inspired by a big crash in the MotoGP World championship during the race at Redbull Ring in Spielberg( Austria). I saw with my eyes all wat was happened there and my thoughts were directly in the time of gladiators of Roman Empire. Isn’t the same thing but in a modern way? Yes, there is and I’m happy I captured that atmosphere, light and dynamic of the happening. I choose the classic medium of painting because is fitting perfectly to what I’ve figured out as the title of this work and remember the Renaissance or Baroque when such titles were established “Battle of….”. Classic technical background in a modern interpretation.
