One of my watercolor paintings about winter light. Here it is about the light and the colors on a cold day at the sea, the misty and dreamy atmosphere.... 20x50 cm in this frame size, 28x51 cm whole sheet as it comes, watercolors and gouache on 300g rough paper. Comes unmounted. Signed on the back and Certificate of Authenticity. The photos show different framing options just to give you an idea what the painting will look like framed. Of course there are many more options, you can talk to your local framers or contact me if you need advice on that! (c) 2019 Gesa Reuter, all rights reserved. COLORS: Please be aware that monitors may show colors slightly different from reality, especially blues and greens. It is almost impossible to avoid that! SHIPPING: Please note, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. I have no control over these charges and I cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
