About The Artwork
Picture worked from free improvisation. Action painting with music by Roy Hargrove. This painting is based on a brush stroke with "dirty water from the previous day". From that first ocher gouache I decide that I want to develop a painting with spaces, without much paint and arbitrating on the stains that appear more than directing them. For this reason, I paint with a piece of cardboard and with a piece of fiberglass mesh, with which I create different types of marks that I cannot control, but that I can cohere creating a set that works. I include a phrase from a verse by Luís García Montero that defines my sensations doing this work. Sides painted in black. Professional packaging and certificate of authenticity.

I'm an expressionist abstract painter. I make lyrical paintings, based on color, texture and energy. I try to connect with the most ancient part of my brain, the least educated area. I develop my work in 2 phases, the first one is the most intuitive part of the work, I create interest without thinking a lot, without judge anything and giving to myself opportunities to create interest. In the second phase, I work in a more logical way, working the composition, values and details. I work with acrylics, alcohol inks and spray painting mainly.
