landscape painting Work realized by pasting newspaper on the canvas, then the support was treated with glue and finally painted. this technique places the emphasis on the conditioning of the media on everyday life, the surface is rippled and increases the sense of uncertainty and transience typical of our lives. The work is published in the catalog "Paolo Cervino City Crac and other stories" published by Primp Editore in 2012 by the art critic Manlio Gaddi, on the occasion of the artist's personal exhibition at the Gallery: Arte Paolo Maffei in Padova. The catalog belongs to the art collection of the Tono Zancanaro Historical Archive, Padova, Italy. The work is accompanied by the following poem by the artist: Ripped from a tongue of light Puffs of clouds float ... The reverberation of rain on sea water, salty reflection of the nets, balls of life tangled on a rock, waiting for a new sun.

I believe that painting is mute poetry(in the words of Leonardo Da Vinci) , music for the eyes, caress and delight for the soul. My paintings do not dwell on a single subject but they are all inseparably linked by the same poetic. The central theme of my work is always life in its facets. Whether it's a landscape be it abstract or not, the focus of the work is always a reference to an emotional state, so the only real permanent theme in my work are the emotions. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo Cervino was born in Brindisi in 1974.
