Boar Painting

From my journal: "I had a dream. I was on a beach surrounded by Wild Boars. They were everywhere. Some were swimming, some were digging in the sand, and some laying down taking in the heat. There was one that caught my attention when it started to approach me. It was big and bulky, and aggressive with the other Boars. I was nervous as it rushed towards me. To show this Boar that I was not a threat, I got down on my knees so that it could see that we were equals. It stopped and stared at me for a few seconds; I remember it's big red eye's. I put my hand out so it could smell my scent. It continued to walk towards me and once it got to my hand and sniffed, it then rubbed it's head along my hand. This is when I knew that there was no fear between us. I sat down on the sand and the Boar laid down beside me. I began to pat it on it's head and go down it's back. It was relaxed, I was relaxed and we watched the sun go down." This is an original piece. Acrylic on canvas. Thick amounts of paint were used to help create texture. It is signed and dated by the artist. This piece will be shipped in a box. *Colors may look different depending on the screen you are viewing it on.
