The images broke through to us - they broke out of their pre-discursive captivity, from the invisible into the visible, from the mute into the spoken! Their plasticity is expressive, gesticulating, blatant, openly and distinctly anticipates the cry! Perhaps this cry is unobtrusive, not combative, not invocative - it is a suppressed cry of someone who would like to shout, but cannot meet the deadline, since the primary task is a breath of air that allows the emerging person to scream! Shouting in the future - shouting ahead!

Born in the artistic family in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1990, Taia has been drawing since her very early age. She grew up in the creative atmosphere of an art school on the background of the emergence of contemporary art in Siberia. She graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from the Novosibirsk State Academy of Architecture and Art (NGAHA). The passion for art has never left her. This resulted in the combination of art work and the creation of interior design in her practice. Together with Gleb Sotnikov, her twin brother, she organized the interior design studio ‘ArtTwinDesign'. Currently based in Los Angeles.
