About The Artwork
I just LOVE being creative, the process feeds my soul. I really get into a state of “all consuming” mind, body, and spirit, as I experiment and toil with illusions, colors, and textures. My process is expressive art through meditation and deep soul exploration. I will sit and play with the paints for hours, watching how they lay up on each other, creating waves and washes, showing through the layers of light. I am passionate about my environment. I am the daughter of a meteorologist, and I live on the beach in Florida, so storms seem to find their way into almost every painting that I create. The sea and sky are primary subjects in my art. This painting is a raging explosion of passions. The bursting sunset in the upper world dominates over the rainy underworld creates a sharp contrast of emotions. It's all energy in motion, turning it all into a mysterious question of which world would you choose to live in. The dilemma is that the two worlds need each other to exist, there must be duality to prosper. This is an acrylic painting on canvas with three coats of varnish to protect it from dust and UV light. This painting is ready to hang. Enjoy life!

I paint to connect with the flow of life. I allow the liquid love to spill out of me and onto my canvas. The colors indicate my feelings and emotions as they illustrate my inner guidance. I do this through painting and creating expressions of my feelings. Each day as I approach the blank canvas, I sit and get quiet with my thoughts and emotions toward the process. My soul is trying to sing it’s song with the textures and effects. When I break the barrier of human thoughts my visual voice rings out with it’s own form of poetry, I feel deeply the hope for clarity and purity of spirit. I believe our thoughts form our reality. I create these thoughts as images on the canvas to keep me focused on my expansion and evolution. My paintings have a great deal to do with my spiritual evolution and how I create my paradise. Each painting is a different piece of the puzzle that makes up my emotional grounding that forms my reality.
