About The Artwork
This painting is based on a photo I took as a passenger on a road trip in California, where I lived and worked a ski season for 5 months in 2003/04. For me this painting has a brightness, and the freshness of a new experience, as well as some nostalgia. I tried to have the interior of the car rushing towards the landscape outside the car. The feeling of the passengers feelings, connected to the landscapes they are viewing.
