The original image of west coast forest, Vancouver Island, is still slightly visible through the light green portion of the painting. This painting reflects my love of Vancouver Island. Green is the color of growth, the color of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. Green is a sanctuary. This artwork has quite a bit of scratching and texture. The artwork is initialled on the bottom right corner in black ink. It is also signed on the back. This artwork is also available framed.
