About The Artwork

My drawing was inspired by the once very closed and one of the most unknown countries in Asia - Myanmar (Burma). In December 2019, I went on a trip to this country. I wanted to understand and feel Burma, and not just be a tourist with a camera. I traveled by train and bus with locals. On my way I met many smiling and friendly people who became my friends. It touched my heart that, despite all the troubles that happened to these people, they continue to smile at this world and try to be happy. Southeast Asians often send their children to temples. Children do not necessarily become monks. Several years spent in the monastery give these children education, food and a roof over their heads. It is the responsibility of the children to help the monks in collecting donations for their monastery. Very often we can see groups of monk boys busily scurrying around the city or strolling along the roads with alms jars. But how to keep the boys from adventuring? As soon as they are left unattended by the elders, they become ordinary children. They sincerely enjoy the world around them. Find your little secrets in it. They make friends and quarrel, make peace and play. Trying to understand how the world works. They see the beauty of the world with pure eyes and believe in miracles.

Hello! My name is Tati. Having worked as a graphic designer and layout designer in many newspapers and magazines for many years, I realized that what I want most is freedom! Freedom of creativity. Freedom to show the whole world how I see it! My painting is what I feel, see, understand. This is the feeling of my flight and freedom to speak my language. I try to tell the big story of the characters with the images in the picture. To tell what is often hidden from us. Each of my paintings has a story. Sometimes this story is very short. And sometimes it's a whole story. When you look at my paintings, try to feel what I have hidden in their meaning!
