Albert Kanyek Libre III is a boundary-breaking artist passionate about blending the rich traditions of Chinese and Western art. Specializing in Xiěyì (寫意) or spontaneous-style Chinese Brush Painting and the vibrant Lingnan style, Albert infuses his works with dynamism and boldness, creating pieces that transcend traditional boundaries. His artistic evolution began with explorations in charcoal pencil, Western watercolor, oil painting, cray-pas, and pastels under the tutelage of Philippine National Artist Rody Herrera, renowned for his design of the Philippine five-peso bill.
