About The Artwork
I painted this artwork as a pear bitten out of, shining onto an infinite ladder with floating pears around. My intention is for the pears to express how things go 'pear shaped' so often when reaching for your goals, each expectation of how a journey will go pretty much always never turns out the way it was envisioned in the first place. I then continued the painting with a second canvas (sold together) which has a lighter sky and the ladder has been bombarded with pears, while someone hangs onto the ladder. Showing the climb isn't straight forward. Prints of the sequel are available on another listing names "Climb pt 2". This is one of my hand stretched artworks, ready to hang and all paintings come with a certificate of authentication!
