The year both my husband and I were diagnosed with different cancers, we took the whole family to the Oregon Coast for Xmas and New Years. We thought it would be our last. Suprise - we both recovered! I took a photo of the receding tide at sunset one evening and recently painted the scene on a large canvas in oils.
