Vasilendiuc is the unusual artist, he perceives the world closed in pictures and signs reflecting on human presence but sometimes that world looks as the one where no man had trod before. Many people, who are led by his biography and reportedly lyric disposition, detect the implied meaning in his works, which is wandering around the ins and outs of metaphysics and the nooks of the religions’ philosophy. He uses colors brilliantly allowing them to permeate behind the frames of the painting and it is covered in the kind of “the mist” which can drag you into the work of art. Apart from the images painted during his travels, we can find those ones where a motive of the sun gazing at the artist/viewers/the world returns, transformed by the multiplicity of cases and this motive only seemingly resembles a smiling face known from children’s books.
