This piece belongs to the "Exchange Currency Series," which I created in 2024, based on the concept of the "face" on coins. Addressing a cross-cutting feminist issue between the idea of foreignness and gender discrimination, it connects with the global Me Too campaign by portraying a female figure framed by the phrase: "Me too, it happened to me too" in Spanish. Conceptually, this artwork is part of my project exploring the theme of foreignness, drawing from my own experience and connecting with the challenges of migration. As an artist of Moldovan origin, I delve into themes of foreignness and explore the value of art with this series.
