Dances is an improvisation inspired work. This work is mainly dominated by a free using of grids and similar structures. Using grid structures I may be seeking to create a sense of stability or balance within the composition. The grid can be seen as a metaphor for the structure of society, technology, or architecture. It can also be interpreted as a symbol of the rational mind, as the grid implies a logical and systematic approach to problem-solving. I work on to creating tension and dynamism. When a grid is disrupted, it can create a sense of movement or energy.
