About The Artwork
This painting is created in complete darkness, in a dark room, where any light source is blocked entirely. It is 2011, and we are in Pune, India; at Osho Commune, in the basement, a group of people experimented with our art and art therapist training teacher, late Meera Hashimoto. We got into our spot in small candlelight, had a paper in front of us and black and white acrylics and water next to us, then she blew off the candle and put music on out loud. After a good 30 minutes of painting, the lights got on, and this is what emerged in front of me. Medium: Acrylic on recycled cotton rag paper in a box frame. This painting is already sold.
