About The Artwork

“The chance which now seems lost may present itself at the last moment.” ― Jules Verne What thoughts would be running through your head with only three days left? What emotions are you feeling? Only three days to win a big bet that has taken you years of preparation and three months of grueling effort to get this far. Now your chances of making it to the finish line on time seem to be slipping away. But wait. There's no quit in you. Not now. In fact, no better time than the present to dig your heels in and forge ahead even stronger. As long as there's still a chance... Day 77 is painted on a ceramic tile that was left over after a remodeling project. It has pre-mounted braces and a hook so it's ready to hang and will be ~1 inch off the wall.

After a 30 year career in advertising and sales leadership I escaped the corporate media world a few years ago and can now focus on creating my own work. In other words, I'm an outsider artist that has decades of ideas pouring out. My intent is primarily to create pieces of art that are highly visual and interesting to enjoy and study... but may often express ideas, ask questions, unearth feelings, debate opinions, or sometimes be provocative. Like many paintings though, they're often just a combination of lines, shapes, colors, textures, and space. That said; I hope my work presents a UNIQUE combination of art elements to you and that you like what you see. Better yet, I hope you believe some of my pieces should be included in your collection. I've traveled the world but have always lived in the Philadelphia area. While I have no formal training as an artist, I've been a photographer and I've been around the art community my whole life. My wife Suzanne works as a Docent for the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, and together we've raised three wonderful sons that are all now making their own way in the world. We have a home and our studio in Chester County PA with our Bernese Mountain Dog; Mr Charlie.
